It mainly depends on the Moon: the more it is present and bright in the sky during the evening, the more it “washes out” the view of the stars.

The Moon is absent or very thin all evening: the darkest possible sky.

The Moon is only present for part of the evening, or rises/sets at a time that limits its impact.

When the Moon is bright enough to outshine the deep sky, we shift the focus of the evening: special Moon-themed sessions exploring lunar phases, surface features, and the Moon itself through the telescope.

Bookings may only be made by persons aged 18 or older. Minors may take part in an event when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who has completed the booking.

Completing a booking (Open Group or Private Event) confirms your reservation for the selected date and time. A deposit or full payment is required to secure your spot, as indicated at checkout.

This booking is for an experience, not a physical product — no shipping is involved. Once your registration is confirmed, you will immediately receive a confirmation email with the event date, time, and meeting point. If you do not receive this email within a few minutes, please check your spam folder or contact us directly.

Open Group Events and Private Events may be cancelled up to 7 business days before the event date for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 business days before the event date are not eligible for a refund.

Exception — "Under the Stars of the Negev" (September 3, 2026): cancellations are accepted only until August 20, 2026. After this date, no refund will be issued.

Our astronomy evenings take place outdoors, at night, on desert terrain. Participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety, including suitable footwear and clothing, and following the guide's instructions at all times. Naomi Bamidbar cannot be held liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence. Participants with a health condition that may be affected by walking on uneven terrain, cold temperatures, or nighttime conditions should inform us before booking. If the campfire option is included, participants are solely responsible for their own safety around the fire; any interaction with the fire is at their own risk, and Naomi Bamidbar cannot be held liable for any injury, burn, or damage resulting from it.

Astronomy evenings depend on weather and sky conditions beyond our control (cloud cover, wind, sandstorms, etc.). If an event must be postponed or cancelled due to weather, we will offer a rescheduled date or a full refund, at the client's choice. Partial cloud cover or reduced visibility on a scheduled evening does not, by itself, entitle participants to a refund, as some level of observation and the accompanying explanations are still provided.

Photos and videos may be taken during group or private events for use on our website and social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.). If you do not wish to appear in these photos, please let your guide know at the start of the event.
